On November 22-25, POLEKO’ 2011 International Trade Fair of Environmental Protection was held once again in Poznań.
This year's POLEKO and KOMTECHNIKA occupied a total area of about 17.000 m2, gathered 700 exhibitors and companies from 19 countries: Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Holland, Canada, Germany, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Ukraine, Great Britain, Italy and the USA.
Leading topic of this year's fair is "Resource Efficiency - efficient use of resources".
Exhibitors participating in this year's fair had been gathered according to the issues they represented, namely:
- Clean Energy Salon, which was devoted entirely to the technology
and products associated with the use of renewable energy. The Salon was organized in cooperation with the chambers and associations involved in promoting renewable energy. Clean Energy Forum - a series of seminars on the latest solutions in the field of renewable energy acquisition, invariably accompanied salon.
- Salon of Control and Measurement Equipment, where you could see the devices for measurements, laboratory analysis and quality control of water, wastewater, air and noise.
- Recycling Salon – the exhibition of technologies and equipment for recovery and waste treatment, was organized for the tenth time. Recycling Forum was organized for all interested in the subject of materials re-use. The forum was accompanied by an exhibition of photographs – "Recycling in Focus" – the presentation of unusual approach of themes of recycling and how it is perceived by society.
The Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology was presented at the fair under the slogan – "Radiation Technology Serves a human being and environment".
The stand of the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology was located in the pavilion bringing together institutions within the "Exhibition of Clean Energy" and it was visited by persons concerned our theme (in particular: testing of pipelines and installations tightness, mobile dosimetry gateway, radiometric probe for measuring of radon in water, radiation decontamination of spices and herbs, radiation sterilization of medical devices).
