Competition for the Professor position at the Scientific Department - Center for Radiochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry.

Job description:

  • conducting research using VCD, ECD, MCD and Raman spectroscopy methods,
  • conducting research using quantum chemistry computational methods,
  • conducting research on descriptors used in physical organic chemistry,
  • supervising doctoral and master's theses,
  • preparing of reports and public presentation of results,
  • preparing of scientific publications,
  • preparing of grant proposals.

Required qualifications:

  • academic title of professor;
  • significant scientific achievements documented in the form of peer-reviewed publications in journals from the Philadelphia list related to the topics of physical chemistry, chiroptical spectroscopy, computational chemistry, physical organic chemistry;
  • experience in leading scientific projects;
  • experience in leading a research team;
  • experience in supervising doctoral theses;
  • teaching experience, including giving lectures, for example, at a doctoral school;
  • proficiency in at least one foreign language;
  • possessing communication skills and cooperation ability with national and foreign centers and organizations.

  • list of publications published in journals from the Philadelphia list;
