Night of Museums 2011


On 14/15 May 2011 at night between 19:00 and 01:00, a lot of events related with popularization of the cultural, scientific and technical achievements took place all over th country within framework of the Night of Museums. The Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology as a close collaborator of the Museum of Maria Skłodowska-Curie once again participated in the Night of Museums.

The INCT presented below losted topics:

  • Nominated on the IAEA Collaborating Centre on Radiation Processing and Industrial Dosimetry
  • Analysis of the ability to acquire uranium for nuclear energy from domestic resources
  • Development of multiparameters test “triage” to assess population exposure to ionizing radiation
  • Analysis of the effects of the use of thorium in nuclear power reactor
  • Centre of Radiochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry for nuclear power and nuclear medicine
  • The impact of nanomaterials on human health: Conclusions from in vitro studies in animal models. Project No: PNRF-122-A1-1/07


The INCT also gave idea for presentation in form of one-act play scenes from Maria Skłodowska-Curie life performed by the Theatre Group “Five-leaf clover” from the School No. 52 in Warsaw.
