The results of radiation hardening and the microstructural evolution in OH18N10T and OOH17N14M2
austenitic stainless steel irradiated by neon (with 230 MeV energy) heavy ions and neutron
(E > 0, 1 MeV) has been investigated. The irradiation experiments were carried out on an external
beam of the U-400 cyclotron in Dubna and in reactor EWA (Institute of Atomic Energy, Otwock-Świerk).
The dose dependence of the change of mechical properties were determined. The transmission electron
microscope (TEM) has been used to characterize the microstructural changes and dependence of radiation
defects density on the dose.
