The paper is a brief review of all experiments on measurement of cross sections for scattering of pm-atoms in hydrogen and deuterium. The experimental results are analysed and compared both with one another and with calculated results. A programme for further investigation of scattering of muonic atoms of hydrogen isotopes is proposed in order to clarify the nature of discrepancies between some experimental results and to get more precise information about the above processes.
