In this paper, we study how the electron-positron momentum density of non-interacting particles, r(p), in a periodic lattice potential is influenced by changes of the shape of the positron wave function y+(r). For this purpose, we confront the results of a recently published theory with data obtained by numerical tests. This confrontation confirms and illustrates the validity of all main statements of our theory.
