FLEXIDENTATE CHARACTER ON N-METHYL-2-PYRIDINECARBOXYAMIDE IN TRICARBONYL COMPLEXES OF RHENIUM(I)

The synthesis and structures of two tricarbonyl complexes of rhenium(I) with bidentate ligand N-methyl-2-pyridinecarboxyamide (LH) were presented. The structures of obtained complexes show flexidentate behaviour of this ligand with coordinates as neutral N,O-donor in [Re(CO)3LHNOBr] and as anionic N,N-donor in [Re(CO)3LNN(im)].
