Airborne Dust Concentration Gauge AMIZ-2004G

The gauge AMIZ-2004G is designed to measure automatically dust concentration in the ambient air. It can operate as an individual dust pollution monitor or in monitoring systems using GMS network.

The principle of operation of the gauge is based on measurement of dust mass deposited on a filter from known volume of air. The dust mass deposited on the filter is determined by attenuation of beta radiation from Pm-147 source. Additionally, the measurements of the pump pressure and temperature, ambient air temperature, humidity and pressure are performed. The measuring results can be transmitted to a computer by a serial port for archival purposes or for further processing. A hardcopy of results can also be made (if the gauge is equipped with a printer).
