The Centre of Excellence is managed by the Director supervising the following units:

  • Administrative Team (AT) responsible for administrative support of the Centre of Excellence.

  • Technology Transfer Centre (TTC) responsible for promotional activities (fairs, exhibitions, contact with enterprises and chambers of commerce) and implementation (transfer of technology to enterprises). TTC participates in intellectual property right protection by providing specialised support during the process of obtaining patent rights, granting licences or selling these rights.

  • Training and Education Centre (TEC) responsible for training and education. Educational activities of the TEC include coordinating internships of Polish and foreign students as well as creating policy of the development of qualifications of employees of the Centre of Excellence. The Centre supports preparation of master thesis and doctoral thesis. Eko-Nukleon is a training centre under Marie Curie Host Fellowships for Transfer of Knowledge Project, carried on for four years. Training activities, including workshops for entrepreneurs and recipients of solutions developed by the Centre of Excellence are planned.

  • Research and Implementation Section responsible for carrying on research, development of new technologies and their implementation in business.

Research and implementation activities of the Centre are undertaken by four laboratories supervised by the Director. The Management Board of the Centre creates the policy and strategy, as well as makes decisions regarding key issues, aimed at effective and innovative realisation of activities of the Centre of Excellence proposed in the research programme.
